How accurate are the colors displayed on your website?

Whenever possible we use the yarn manufacturer’s image to provide you with an accurate color representation.  Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee how the images will appear on your computer screen.  Every computer system and monitor display colors slightly differently.  While a red will not appear green the shade of red might be slightly different from monitor to monitor and may also shift from dye lot to dye lot for a given yarn.

If I purchase multiple skeins of a yarn will they all be from the same dye lot?

We do our best to match dye lots for your order. On occasion we may not be able to do so. In this instance, if there is a visual difference in color between the skeins we will contact you to see how you would like to proceed. If there is no visible difference in color between the skeins we will still contact you before we ship your order with mixed dye lots to see how you would like to proceed. The last thing we want is for you to be surprised.

Can I request a specific Dye Lot?

To see if we have the yarn you are looking for in a certain Dye Lot please give us a call before placings your order at 1-401-722-5660 and ask to speak with BestYarns.com. We will be happy to see if we have the dye lot you are looking for available. We can be reached Monday through Friday 9 am to 4:30 pm EST.

Can I place a phone order?

You certainly can! Call 1-401-722-5660.  Our sister store The Yarn Outlet will answer.  Ask for BestYarns.com Customer Service. We will gladly take your phone order Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays 11:30 to 3:30. We are closed Sundays and major holidays.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Paypal. We do not accept personal checks, money orders, C.O.D. or purchase orders. All of our transactions are in U.S. dollars

How will I know you received my order?

Within 5 to 15 minutes of placing your order you will receive an order confirmation email.

How long will it take for you to process my order?

It takes us 1 to 3 business days to process and ship your order. We strive for 1 business day but during peak season it can take us a little longer. If we are short on a color that is due in, your order may take a bit longer. Out of respect, we will contact you to inform you of the delay. If there are any problems with the items you have ordered we will notify you within the next 24/48 hours.

Do you offer Free Shipping?

Absolutely! We offer free shipping, for orders delivered within the United States, on orders of $75 or more. All orders that qualify for free shipping are shipped USPS Standard Post.

Can I select a expedited shipping option?

Certainly. We offer several USPS shipping options for you to purchase at check out.

What is “Local Pick up”?

“Local Pick Up” is In-Store Pick up. You get to shop on-line, pay on-line and then come into our sister store The Yarn Outlet and pick up your order.

What areas can use the “Local Pick-Up” option?

Currently this option is available for all Rhode Island addresses, Attleboro MA (including North and South), Rehoboth MA, Seekonk MA, Swansea MA and Taunton MA. If you are in the surrounding area and would like to be able to use this option but it does not show up for you just give us a call with your zip code available before placing your order at 401-722-5660 and we will be happy to make this option available to you.

When/where can I pick up my order when I have selected “Local Pick-Up”?

We have arranged for your order to be picked up at our sister store The Yarn Outlet located at:

50 Division Street

Pawtucket RI 02860.

Your order can be picked during the hours of:

Monday – Friday 9 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays 11 am to 5 pm. You will receive an email letting you know that your order is ready for pick up.

Orders placed before 1 pm Monday through Saturday will be available for pick up by 3 pm the same day. Orders placed Monday through Saturday after 1 pm will be available for pick up the next business day.

Orders placed on Sundays will be available for pick up Mondays after 3 pm.

BestYarns.com and The Yarn Outlet are not responsible for orders not picked up within 14 calendar days.

How do I get to the Local Pick Up location? From 95 South:

Take Exit 27

Turn left at the first traffic light onto George Street.

Cross over highway and turn left at the first traffic light (USA Cleaners will be on your right.)

Proceed over the Division Street Bridge ahead of you.

The Yarn Outlet will be just ahead on the left.

From 95 North:

Take exit 28 (School Street)

Turn Right at the bottom of the exit ramp.

Proceed to first traffic light and turn right onto Division Street.

The Yarn Outlet will be the second big building on the right.

The parking lot is just after the building.
